SOLAR PV PANELS
Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) provides a great system of support to help homeowners. The SEAI currently award home owners grants of up to €2100.00 towards the installation of solar panel if you are deemed eligible.
Are you eligible?
In order to qualify for the grant, your home needs to meet the following criteria
Apply for the grant and wait for approval.
You have 8 months from approval of the grant to complete the works and submit all relevant paperwork.
All homeowners and landlords can avail of this grant.
Your MPRN number and address should have no previous funding from the SEAI for Solar PV.
All homes built and occupied before 31st December 2020 are eligible for the Solar PV grant.
Grant Funding Available
€800 per kWp (up to 2kWp).
Homeowner will receive €1600.00 for 2kWp solar panels (i.e 6/7 panels)
€250.00 for each additional kWp up to 4kWp.
Homeowner will receive €1850.00 for 3kWp solar panels
Total Grant for Solar PV is capped at
€2, 100.00
for 4kWp Solar Panels
