Grants & Tax Incentives

Businesses that invest in energy efficient, EV charging stations may be eligible to apply for the Accelerated Capital Allowance (ACA) tax incentive scheme. In the case of private households, a grant is available when installing a home EV / PHEV charger. These schemes are administered by the SEAI to encourage the purchase of electric vehicle chargers.
